Ravines Wine Cellars is a world-class artisanal winery.  It is located in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York.  As a representative winery and cultivator in the Finger Lakes, it has always attracted great attention and has received high international acclaim.  Ravines Winery has quickly become recognized and famous as a top winery in the eastern United States.

It is a place filled with the passion of European winemaker/oenologists Morten and Lisa Hallgren.  Together, they have created a unique and wonderful craft winery making elegant and expressive wines.  Ravines Wine Cellars cultivates grapes on dry, traditional soils on more than 52 hectares of vineyards.  Since its establishment in 2001, it has been family-run by the Hallgrens.

Morten grew up in Provence and Bordeaux, France, where he honed his winemaking skills, before moving to the Finger Lakes region and pioneering the bone-dry, minerally style for which it is best known.
