This Riesling is made from select grapes in the most mineral-rich style, with expected citrus flavors and an energetic finish. It is an elegant, dry wine with delicate aromas, pronounced minerality and bright acidity.

Ravines produces dry, classical wines that take advantage of the terroir on its 130+ acre estate vineyards. Since 2001, it has been family-owned by Morten and Lisa Hallgren. Morten grew up in Provence and Bordeaux, France, where he trained as a winemaker and oenologist before moving to the region and developing the bone-dry, mineral-rich Riesling style that the region is now famous for.

Ravines practices sustainable wine growing on steep vineyards with limestone and shale soils, with minimal intervention in the cellar.

Ravines, which has always been a representative winery of the Finger Lakes, has received high praise internationally.
