FURUSAWA DISTILLERY 「Masako」Aged Barley Shochu
This handmade 100% barley shochu uses white koji and is distilled once in a normal pressure still, which brings out a richer aroma and enables optimal aging. It is then aged for over 11 years in ceramic jars and enamel tanks.
Aging in ceramic vessels results in a rich, flavorful sake that develops a gorgeous aroma unique to aging and is perfect served on the rocks or with hot water.
